Van Meter
Family Farms
Welcome to Van Meter Family Farms. Where the mountains are quiet, the berries are ripe, and everything good takes time to grow.
Hours of Operation
Thank You for Visiting!
Van Meter Family Farms is officially closed for the year. We’re so grateful to everyone who visited and supported us this season. Stay tuned for our 2026 reopening dates — we can’t wait to see you again next summer!
If you’d like to reserve or request anything for next season, please reach out to us at admin@vanmeterfamilyfarms.com, we’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for supporting local, seasonal farming and for being part of our growing community. See you in 2026!

General Guidelines
-
Stay within marked picking areas. Don’t climb trees, fences, or wander into closed sections. And please, no littering.
-
We love it when families visit. Just make sure little ones are always within arm’s reach, especially around the bushes.
-
As much as we love dogs, pets aren’t allowed in the picking areas to keep the berries clean and the plants safe.
-
Follow the signs to the parking area and check in at the welcome stand before you begin picking.
-
We price by the pint and quart, not by the pocket. Please only pick what you plan to pay for. We are on the Catskills honor system.
-
If someone from the farm gives you instructions, it’s just to keep the place safe and the berries thriving. We appreciate your cooperation!
-
Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing suitable for uneven ground, dirt, and sun exposure. Avoid sandals or anything you’d be upset to get dusty or stained.
